Delivery Times

Goods will be delivered within 8 working days if in stock (depending on the destination). Otherwise, mostly within 20 working days (depending on the destination). Transportation options include personal collection, transport, mail or other transport services, express services, personal delivery at your preferred location or courier).

We generally packs orders Monday - Friday. However, orders packed by us on Legal Holidays are not shipped until the following day. If you receive an email from us on a Legal Holiday indicating that your order has shipped, please be aware that it will ship the next day.

Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, except holidays.

Please note: All orders are subject to approval by our verification department. We will notify you by phone or email should your order be delayed.

Standard Delivery


We offer worldwide shipping using mostly UPS or PPL. Shipping fees are calculated on a combined basis of weight, value and destination. A signature is required for all UPS and PPL shipments upon receipt. Packages cannot be rerouted or picked up from UPS. Please make sure that someone will be at the shipping destination to receive the package and sign for it. If an order is refused or returned to us due to inaccurate or incorrect address information or because it was declined or undeliverable, Michal Kovac reserves the right to retain the original shipping/handling fee and to charge the payment method originally used for costs we incur related to the return of the undeliverable packages or merchandise to us.

Michal Kovac may be obliged to block certain products from being shipped outside of the Czech republic, based on manufacturer or government restrictions.

Shipments that are returned to us as unclaimed will be send back only to re-request.

Orders delivered across international borders may be subject to duties, taxes or brokerage fees upon its arrival. Payment of these fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Michal Kovac cannot estimate or control those charges. The rate does vary depending on the product and country.

Order Processing


We suggest that you register and log-in when you visit our site. This allows us to provide you with your "Order Status" and other information that is uniquely yours. Registration is for free and allows you to make order in our web site.


Payment is possible in cash, bank transfer, credit cards and PayPal. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal. For international orders, the customer is responsible for any duty fees

Other Billing Arrangements

This option is available if you’d like to set up other arrangements for payment such as paying by cheque, cash or house account. A sales representative will contact you to discuss the arrangements and details.

Fraud Protection Policy

For your protection orders are subject to Michal Kovac's verification procedure. You may be asked to verify that you are the card owner, or that the order information is legitimate. This may include a request for a copy of your credit card (front and back), which can be transmitted by fax or through a secure upload page which we will provide should this be necessary. Should your order require verification, you will be notified by phone or email. For this reason it is imperative that you provide us with both your current daytime and evening phone numbers, including country and city codes. Michal Kovac reserves the right to refuse an order when the address or credit card is not verifiable. If so, a refund will be issued via the same method you used to make your payment.

Check your order

Each order is confirmed by sending an e-mail message in which you have the last opportunity to check your recent order. Check this e-mail and in the case of an error, contact us immediately.


Michal Kovac guarantees products sold by Michal Kovac in accordance with the manufacturer's guarantee, for faults due to the manufacturing process. The guarantee is valid for the period indicated by the manufacturer. The guarantee is governed by Sasia business rules and the law of the Czech Republic. Customer should ensure that all Products are used according to their specifications. Michal Kovac shall not be liable for the repair of Products, or any direct or indirect loss, damage, costs or expenses that the Customer may incur if Products are not used according to their specifications. Michal Kovac provides no warranty as to the compatibility of products unless those products were purchased by the Customer from Michal Kovac in the same order. Two products will not be incompatible if they both have at least one common interface (signal, mechanical or electrical). Michal Kovac shall not be liable for any costs, damages, expenses or losses incurred by the Customer or any third party as a result of this action, nor liable in contract or in tort or otherwise in any way whatsoever unless by statute such liability cannot be excluded.

Complaint Procedure

First of all, please refer to manufacturer's warranty terms for repairs within warranty. In the case of a claim the Customer shall provide Michal Kovac with a full description of the fault in writing. Goods considered faulty for which the customer wishes to be refunded, should be returned to point of purchase, in their original packaging where possible. Goods sent to our address. Goods must not be sent cash on delivery. Michal Kovac does not accept goods sent by the cash on delivery. After receiving the goods will be carefully searched and examined whether belongs to the complaint. All products pass through rigorous inspection. If a manufacturing fault is immediately apparent, a refund will be issued in 30 days. However if the fault is of a technical nature, the goods may need to be sent to the manufacturer or distributor for further inspection. In such instances we will aim to provide as realistic a date for refund or return of goods as possible.

Please be advised that if goods are found not to be defective, or have been damaged since leaving the store, the goods will be returned to the customer and carriage costs will be charged accordingly.

Your complaint will be filled at the shortest possible time, not later than 30 days from the day when we received the goods under complaint. Delivery to the service centre is to be at the Customer's risk. Michal Kovac shall return repaired products to the Customer at Michal Kovac's expense and risk.

Software, corruptible items and consumables (for example film and photographic paper) are non-refundable. At our sole discretion only, it is possible an exception may be made, provided seals are fully intact.

Michal Kovac will not under any circumstances compensate for lost images. All photographic goods are sold on the express understanding that it is the photographer's sole responsibility to arrange provision of back up equipment and / or materials. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Michal Kovac aims to provide a timely and efficient resolution to customer issues and complaints. In the first instance you should send e-mail to: admin@saskia.cz. Should you remain unhappy with the solution offered to your complaint, the issue should be detailed in writing for the attention of the Michal Kováč, Belehradska 1908/36, 120 00, Prague 2, Czech republic.

The claim for the guarantee may disappear if:

The product was damaged during transport (Obvious damage to the goods or their packaging must be immediately addressed with the carrier. Customer is not obliged to accept such goods from the carrier. Customer must immediately inform the seller about the damage.) The product has been damaged by improper handling or installation and operation carried out in contravention of the user manual. The product was damaged by the installation and operation, or by the treatment carried out in contravention of the user manual (if the manual exists). The product was used under conditions that did not correspond to the parameters and requirements relevant to this product. The product has been damaged by the action of natural forces and by effects of natural disasters. The product has been damaged by excessive load or use. The product has been damaged by use in contravention of the conditions listed in the documentation. Material changes proportional to the length of use or defects caused by improper maintenance and improper use of the product can not be claimed.

No Return/Exchange On:

All consumable items (e.g., film, tapes, paper, bulbs, CD, DVDs, etc.) once unwrapped. Computers, Software and Hardware once unwrapped. Special Order merchandise Underwater equipment that has been submerged. Educational tapes and books once unwrapped. Software (corruptible) items and consumables (film and photographic paper) are non-refundable. At our sole discretion only, it is possible an exception may be made, provided seals are fully intact.


Michal Kovac shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever, arising from the supply of Products by Michal Kovac to the Customer, including any loss, damage, penalty or fine that the Customer incurs importing Products into any country and consequential loss whether suffered or incurred by the Customer or another person and whether in contract or tort (including negligence) or otherwise and irrespective of whether such loss or damage arises directly or indirectly from Products provided by Michal Kovac to the Customer or where the Products may have been seized by any customs or border control authority of the country to which the Customer has specified as a delivery address.

Contradiction with the purchase contract

If the customer has received a different product than you ordered (involuntary confusion in product packaging), or received a defective product, he/she must send product back unused in original packaging with delivery note in 5 days. Michal Kovac will promptly send you the correct product.

Other terms and Conditions

The Customer undertakes state the exact and true information. All orders are considered to be binding. Seller reserves the right to contact customers by phone to verify or clarify the ore accuracy of the filled data. Any costs for storage, delivery, taxes, duties or any other expenses may be charged to the Customer, if the Customer refuses to: (a) take or accept delivery at the time specified in the quotation; or (b) pay local taxes and duties. Michal Kovac shall not be liable for any costs, damages or losses of any kind whatsoever, including damage to the Products during and after delivery, arising from the actions of Police, customs or other agencies in any country. Notwithstanding that the Customer shall specify a delivery address for Products that is outside of Czech republic, the parties agree that the sale and purchase of the Products is conducted in Czech republic and from the time of completion the Customer is the owner of the Products and Michal Kovac is not importing the Products to any country notwithstanding that the Customer shall specify a country other than Czech republic for the delivery of the Products. Michal Kovac is not the importer of the Products and the Customer shall be the actual importer of the Products into the country of delivery. If Products are to be delivered to any country other than Czech republic, it is the Customer's obligation to pay taxes and duties on the Products in the country of delivery. If the Customer fails or refuses to pay such taxes and duties or to clear the Products through Customs then the Products are deemed to have been delivered when Michal Kovac dispatched the Products.

By sending the order, the customer confirm, he/she agrees with the rules of trade, payment options, delivery terms, Complaints Procedure and he/she is acquainted with the Michal Kovac's protection of personal data. The parties agree that the Czech republic courts have exclusive jurisdiction and that the law of Czech republic shall apply to this agreement. The parties agree that any disputes shall be settled in the Czech language. All contractual relationships are entered into in accordance with the law of the Czech Republic. Conditions are placed in several languages and in the case of dispute the Czech version is decisive.
